Mrs Clinton, the former First Lady, Senator for New York and rival to Mr Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary race, is said to be eager to become the first female president of the World Bank should the post become vacant next year.
“Hillary Clinton wants the job,” a source close to Mrs Clinton told Reuters, which broke the news of the possible move.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ! Mike Krieger On The UN Power Grab
So to make a long story short, the very tough times to come will create a power vacuum that some will use as a way to push forward world government. Treaties are VERY powerful documents which is why they are difficult to pass. We should all agree to a total moratorium on treaties right now. Washington D.C. is criminally incompetent and they would easily sell us up the river if things get dicey again (remember TARP and the Pandora’s box that opened up).
Moreover, if anything, I think recent years have proven that things work much better at the local level and we need to start aggressively moving power and sovereignty back to the states and our local communities. The states are very powerful under the Constitution. Remember the 10th Amendment states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” We have the power people, let’s start using it. If we start getting active and independent in our states and communities now, the harder it will be for the Federal or Global thugs to succeed in their power grab when things get really hard.
Two things here: 1) Obama has ordered the FCC to take over the internet specifically for times of political unrest; and 2) the UN also laughably claims that abortion is a human right as well. So in the UN’s collective mind with just enough brain cells put together to keep from crapping oneself, there is no unalienable right to life, but there is one to surf for porn on the internet. Yeah – that makes a ton of sense

Hundreds more refugees poured across the border into Turkey, bringing the total to more than 2,000 forced into flight in anticipation of a mission of retribution led by President Bashar al-Assad’s notorious younger brother.
Maher al-Assad, the commander of the elite Fourth Division and Republican Guard, has vowed to take vengeance on the town after its inhabitants were accused of killing 120 government soldiers and policemen over the weekend.
One man who fled was able to make phone contact with his wife who remained in Syria. The woman warned her husband that the troops were so close “that they will soon level the town”.
The two boys are thought to have been together when they disappeared as the Syrian security forces embarked on a bloody operation to quell protests in the town, which had risen up in sympathy with the people of nearby Deraa, scene of some of the worst massacres yet witnessed in the revolt.
Thamer al-Sahri seems to have suffered a similar fate to his friend. His body was riddled with bullets and was missing an eye, several teeth and a large chunk of flesh in his lower face.
Imagine if Jews burned the Koran? Muslim mobs across the world would riot and condemnations against Israel would pour in.

According to sources in the Revolutionary Guards of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei has ordered them to proceed immediately with the completion of the Iranian atomic bomb project, including testing and arming of missiles with nuclear payload.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s decision is based on a belief by the Islamic regime’s strategists that both America and Israel lack the courage and the ability to dismantle the Iranian nuclear facilities. The Iranian regime believes that America and Israel fear Iran’s retaliation, and that it has had them frozen in place and confused as to what action to take next. They have concluded that this presents a great opportunity for the Iranian regime to become a nuclear-armed state without any interference from the outside.
America and its European allies have continuously tried to change the behavior of the regime with incentives and negotiations. The Iranian leaders refused every time to accept any offer, buying time in order to get to the point of no return. The jihadists in Iran will have their nuclear bomb, and we have only ourselves to blame.
File under: Really not good news.
Deep in the back of the weekly bulletin of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is a note that NDM-1, the “Indian supergene,” has been isolated from a patient in a U.S. military field hospital in Bagram, Afghanistan.
It’s been a few months since NDM-1 was in the news, so let’s recap. The acronym (for “New Delhi metallo-beta-lactamase 1″) indicates an enzyme that allows common gut bacteria to denature almost all the drugs that can be used against them, leaving two or three that are inefficient or toxic. It was first identified in a resident of Sweden, of Indian origin, who had returned to India for a visit, was hospitalized there, went back to Sweden, and was hospitalized again.

The vast forests of Russia’s Far East are being plundered. Prompted by rising Chinese demand for timber and enabled by a culture of official corruption and fear, environmentalists say a Russian forest mafia is stripping the region of rare and valuable hardwoods, a trade that threatens the world’s last remaining populations of Siberian tigers.
More SmartDiplomacy™! Special Relationship update: Obama sides with Argentina, Hugo Chavez on Falklands
So the people who live there want to remain part of the UK. On what basis does the US intend to demand talks over sovereignty? It can’t be self-determination, because if that were the case, there would be no question that the Falklands are British, and should stay British. Nor can it be a question of colonialism, as the Falklands have their own home-rule government within the UK’s sovereignty, and the people of the islands consider themselves fully British. Moreover, the OAS declaration comes in response to a threat of military action from Argentina, which has publicly talked about a blockade of British shipping in the region over sovereignty claims by Buenos Aires.
Back to Gardiner for some perspective:
It is hugely disappointing that the Obama administration has chosen once again to side not only with the increasingly authoritarian regime in Argentina, but also with an array of despots in Latin America against British interests. Mrs Clinton should be reminded that 255 brave British servicemen laid down their lives in 1982 for the freedom of the Falkland Islanders, who are overwhelmingly British, following the brutal Argentine invasion.

Last night Wichita experienced a very rare weather phenomenon known as a “Heat Burst.” At 12:22 a.m. the temperature at Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport was 85 degrees. At 12:44 the temperature spiked to 102 degrees. This was a 17 degree increase in only 20 minutes. Winds also gusted between 50 and 60 MPH. The heat burst winds and temperatures rapidly dissipated as they spread across Sedgwick and Southern Butler Counties.
A heat burst is caused when rain falls into very dry air, high up in the atmosphere. The rain quickly evaporates as it falls through the dry parcel of air and that parcel cools rapidly. This dense mass falls rapidly toward the ground, heating up as it compresses. When this hot ball of air hits the ground it spreads out in every direction creating very strong, warm and dry winds.

Investors were dour after U.S. May import prices showed a surprise gain of 0.2%, hinting at an inflation push coming into the U.S. from abroad…The action follows a string of weak readings on the U.S. economy that have joined with pessimism about the euro zone’s debt problems and weaker global growth to drive major stock indexes lower. The mood on the trading floor was grim.
“At the moment there doesn’t seem to be any place to hide,” said Ted Weisberg, president of Seaport Securities. “Best-case scenario, [traders] don’t know what to do. Worst case, they’re simply throwing in the towel because they’re frustrated. Nothing seems to work.”
Nothing that’s been tried seems to work, no.
I think it is coming sooner then this…The Coming Crash of 2013
The only way to get off this bullet train to oblivion is to radically reverse Obamanomics in dogged detail. The American people get one more chance to do that in 2012.
But lest readers think that this is due to paying down debt, it isn’t: total US debt was flat (at the ceiling), while intragovernmental holdings declined by $20 billion to accomodate another $20 billion in marketable debt (see the plunder of retirement accounts discussed above). So how does one reconcile this data? Simple – in June the Treasury has collected $44 billion in withheld individual income taxes (and a whopping $400 million in corporate tax), while spending double that, or $89 billion. Fiscal prudence? Rhetorical.
The government racked up $5.3 trillion in new fiscal obligations last year alone — bringing the
current unfunded tab for future expenses on things like Medicare, Social Security and military medical and retirement programs to a whopping $61.6 trillion, or $534,000 per American household.
Then there’s today’s bills: We’re borrowing $125 billion a month that we have no hope of ever paying back on our current course.
The growth in GDP declined to a measly 1.8 percent in the first quarter of 2011 as consumers hung desperately onto their wallets. Job growth has completely collapsed. Fully 60 percent of the electorate thinks the country is on the wrong track. No wonder the daily economic briefing, once on a par with the intelligence briefing, has vanished from President Obama’s schedule.
Heckuva job, guys.
Obama’s serious about spending taxpayer dollars and future taxpayer dollars.
That’s the only thing he’s serious about.
The really disturbing trend in the employment picture in this country is how companies after initially laying off thousands of employees in the previous years have simply chosen to not fill those jobs. Those were jobs still on the books that companies were still taking applications for in the hopes of the economy turning around and then being able to hire. Those jobs will now be gone forever.
The other side effect is that those that have managed to retain their jobs are being worked to death and now after two years of this administrations misguided, inept, and total indifference to the plight of the worker are approaching the burn out stage which will no doubt lead to further issues with people simply giving up. Depending on the individual this continued burn out of the workers will manifest itself in one of two ways. A resignation that this is the way life is going to be and either refusing to let a job get the better of you and slowing down to do what is required to keep your job and nothing more, or trying to keep up with the demands of the job and risking serious physical harm along with damage to any personal relationships outside of the workplace.
In either case it paints a very bleak picture for the future prospects of counting on the spirit of the American people to be able to turn around and succeed in spite of the odds.
I don’t think this is the fundamental change that most Americans had in mind when they voted for Obama.
President Obama campaigned this week for “new and innovative approaches” to America’s economic crisis. So naturally, the futurist-in-chief filched his fresh, bold ideas straight from … the 1930s. The grand new solution to the jobs deficit, according to the White House, is more FDR-style federal job-training spending.
Sounding every bit like the whiteboard eggheads who keep spinning around the Ivy League-Washington revolving door, Obama announced breathlessly: “If we could match up schools and businesses, we could create pipelines right from the classroom to the office or the factory floor. This would help workers find better jobs, and it would help companies find the highly educated and highly trained people that they need in order to prosper and to remain competitive.”
In Obama World, private businesses are just too darned dumb to figure out how to connect the dots and create these pipelines for themselves.
This comes on the heels of a Democratic Congress and President Obama foolishly — nay, recklessly — trimming the employee contributions from 6.2% to a mere 4.2% in an effort to stimulate an already overstimulated economy.
Now Obama is doubling down on the stupid.
At the rate the Obama administration is spending money they would burn through that $700 billion in less then TEN DAYS (see story above)! House Dems demand end of tax deal for debt-ceiling hike
Not only do Blumenauer and his cohorts demonstrate their political irrelevance, they’re also displaying astonishingly bad math skills as well. The projected revenue from hiking the top tax rate to its pre-Bush rate, even using static tax analysis, is around $700 billion over a decade. A $700 billion infusion would not eliminate the “growth of the deficit” over a decade, not at current rates of spending and growth in entitlement spending projected over that period; in fact, it wouldn’t even cut this year’s deficit in half.
The raiding of the last ditch piggybank is on, and who can blame them? With banks setting the example of always reverting to the Discount Window (or the Excess Reserve stash as is now trendy) when in trouble, ordinary working Americans are merely following in the footsteps of their financially more “literate” betters. Unfortunately, unlike the “depositor” institutions, nobody will replenish these funds should they not be repaid and the retirement money is gone for good.
That’s right, the balance that the buyer has in his foot stamp account is $7,807.94.
Fraud? Clerical error? Common?
I do not know.
The point is no one should be walking around with $7,807.94 on a food stamps card like that and still be considered poor.
Authorities said they started appearing about two years ago, likely because of the economy.
“The numbers have tripled or quadrupled,” Elliot said, “They have arrived and have little intention or ability to go anywhere else.”
Most of them don’t have working engines anymore and none of them are actually used for marine recreation. Patrol officers said the owners either find abandoned boats or buy some on the cheap, and then move aboard without ever having to pay rent as long as they keep floating in the river.

In capping the fees, Congress told banks to jack up fees for other customers on other transactions.

But Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller just voted to have me subsidize through higher fees on other transactions his use of a debit card.
Remember – and think about this carefully – when guns are outlawed only the government will have guns.
The operation was supposed to stem the flow of weapons from the U.S. to Mexico by allowing so-called straw buyers to purchase guns legally in the U.S. and later sell them in Mexico, usually to drug cartels.
Instead, ATF documents show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms knowingly and deliberately flooded Mexico with assault rifles. Their intent was to expose the entire smuggling organization, from top to bottom, but the operation spun out of control and supervisors refused pleas from field agents to stop it.
Only after Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry died did ATF Agent John Dodson blow the whistle and expose the scandal.
“What people don’t understand is how long we will be dealing with this,” Dodson told Fox News back in March. “Those guns are gone. You can’t just give the order and get them back. There is no telling how many crimes will be committed before we retrieve them.”
I just received this email update on the video rumor. Remember, it is unverified at this time. It is however fascinating.
The cornerstone belief of American liberals is that the United States is too rich and too powerful. And, if you want to make America poorer and weaker, the easiest way to do so is by preventing the development of our energy resources. Such a policy hobbles our economy and causes massive transfers of wealth from the U.S. to other countries, many of which are hostile. Liberals think this is all to the good, but pretty much every other American disagrees.
The Obama administration’s energy policies have been a disaster, assuming that American decline is not your objective. We have written many times about the administration’s efforts to suppress development of our oil resources, but coal is equally important. The United States is blessed with extraordinary deposits of coal, but Obama is determined to prevent us from using it to generate cheap and plentiful electricity. Obama wasn’t kidding when he said, as a candidate, that his policies would cause electricity prices to “skyrocket.”
With all the mayhem occurring in Bleu State cities this summer (see previous posts and below) rolling blackouts will add to the “fun” the mobs and gangs are having…Good luck charging your Chevy Volts, losers: EPA shutting down five coal plants for reasons that can best be described as… bulls***
The agency also stressed that the regulations are essential for protecting public health… “These reasonable steps taken under the Clean Air Act will reduce harmful air pollution, including mercury, arsenic and other toxic pollution, and as a result protect our families, particularly children,” EPA said in a statement.
Mercury? Mercury? Mercury???
These are the same crackpots who have outlawed conventional lighting and mandated “Compact Fluorescent Lamps” (or CFLs). These are the curly bulbs, each of which contains 4 to 5 milligrams of mercury, which is a sufficient amount to warrant special handling and disposal methods in the event you break one. Which you most assuredly will.
Consider this reason #3,405 to completely de-fund the EPA, which is nothing less than a Marxist front group.
The costs of complying with these specious EPA regulations will spike electricity prices by between 10 to 35 percent and cost 600 jobs. Well done, EPA.
Here we are in an absurd situation in which Congress passed a law by legislative fiat so overbearing that if judicial activists deem it constitutional, it will render the entire US Constitution null and void as it will give politicians the right to make you do anything they want
“I can’t find any case like this,” Dubina said. “If we uphold this, are there any limits” on the power of the federal government?
Judge Stanley Marcus chimed in: “I can’t find any case” in the past, he said, where the courts upheld “telling a private person they are compelled to purchase a product in the open market…. Is there anything that suggests Congress can do this?”
Limits to government power? Now there’s a novel thought.
The debate about healthcare coming from the Democrats is steeped in purposeful misdirection on one hand and a complete lack of any real knowledge about what Obamacare will even do on the other. It is also a major overreach on a federalism level which is why it is hard to understand why more people aren’t talking about the Healthcare Compact plan (healthcarecompact.org).14 states have already signed onto it and has even been signed into law in two of them, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Of course, the problem is that we are expected to believe that Obamacare — which is essentially a nationalized healthcare policy — will work just fine on a national level. Despite that history has proven over and over again that centralized planning simply does not work, most especially with something as unwieldy and complicated as healthcare.
More than 50% of illegal immigrants enter the country through the Tucson sector. Arizona is hit harder by illegal immigration than any other state in the country. The Bureau of Land Management recently posted signs 70 miles north of the border in Sheriff Babeu’s Pinal County warning citizens to stay out of certain areas due to the drug cartels and coyotes. The violence on the border has moved north, with much of it taking place 20-40 miles north of the border. Pinal County has become the number one pass through county in the nation for drug and human trafficking. Sheriff Babeu saysthat parts of Arizona are now controlled by the drug cartels, a $40 billion dollar industry. He laments, “The criminals have taken over our country, and our government has become our enemy.”
Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, formerly governor of Arizona, brazenly declared last year that the border “is as secure as it ever has been.” The Border Patrol is circulating a PowerPoint presentation showing that illegal immigration has decreased. But their chart cherry picks which years and figures to compare. Sheriff Dever objects to the skewed presentation, “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid and buy into ‘this border is secure’ nonsense.” Dever resigned from the governmental Alliance to Combat Transnational Threats organization in February, calling it a charade. Sheriff Babeu accuses the federal government of trying to brainwash the American people by saying the border is safe and secure, in order to “lull us into a false sense of security.”
Always remember that according to the Obama administration the ‘real terrorists’ are those ‘reichwing teabagging Crackers’. Unbelievable… Napolitano: Concentrating Terrorist Screening Efforts on Muslim Men Under 35 is Not Good Logic (Video)
She also predictably suggests that the counter-terrorism apparatus is a useful tool that can save citizens in need of rescue from natural disasters. More likely, it is the roll-out of soft martial law that will create a permanent state of fear, suspicion, false arrests, police brutality, and the end of the American republic in the same fashion that led to the end of every society that chose the path of security over freedom.
We half-heartedly followed a noble coalition into a murky humanitarian effort, but we can’t leave until we’re done “supporting” the accidental killing of the head of state. It’s no wonder Obama is fearful of the War Powers Resolution. His fetish for internationalism and American humility has left him incapable of selling the worthwhile Libyan war to Congress.
One could go on. ObamaCare, Israel, leaving Iraq, drawing down in Afghanistan, green-energy “innovation”—you name it. Wherever there’s progress, the president is looking for exits. Where there’s folly or disaster, he’s doubling down. And for each experiment in the absurd he’s got to make a sales pitch to a country that’s not buying.
Obama is inept at spin because it never occurred to him that he’d have failures in need of spinning. He took the rightness of liberal policy prescriptions as articles of faith. He didn’t even need to know what was in the ObamaCare bill. It would work because liberalism, given its day in the sun, was prophesized to succeed.
As Richard Nixon discovered too late, pissing off your own party — and having an enemies list — are unhelpful when the chips are down.

It’s not going anywhere.
It hasn’t been going anywhere since April, when I last reported on stonewalling in the case.
Confirmed: “Drain the swamp” is Washington-speak for “Let it fester.” While House ethics watchdogs dither, it’s shady business as usual for ethics scandal-plagued Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters.
Last summer, the House Ethics Committee charged the entrenched California congresswoman with three violations related to her wheeling and dealing on behalf of minority-owned OneUnited Bank in Los Angeles. The panel accused Waters of bringing discredit to the House for using her influence to seek and secure taxpayer-subsidized special favors for the failing financial institution.
Eight months have passed since the House ethics panel charged Waters. But to date, there has been no action. No trial. No consequences.
Investor’s Business Daily follows up this week with the latest obstructionism by Democrat guardians for Maxine Waters — and aptly notes that these foxes stationed in front of the House ethics henhouse are the same ones Dems want to put in charge of a Weinergate probe.
There is nothing dumber then a New York Democrat. This is why he won’t resign, he knows he will get reelected…Poll Shows a Majority of Perv Weiner’s District Share His Values
This twerp has never had a job in the private sector and doesn’t have a law degree. Since MSNBC is currently at full staff (like Weiner most of the time), that leaves him with nothing else to do but cling bitterly to his job. He obviously doesn’t care that he’s the biggest joke in America. It still carries a hefty paycheck.
So far, the White House is defending its choice of Wasserman-Schultz in the role. Ed Rendell defends Wasserman-Schultz by claiming that her gaffes have been “minor.” After four weeks on the job, though, Wasserman-Schultz is averaging at least one laugher a week, providing the RNC with plenty of clippable — and damning — video. They may start a job-creation boom on DWS Watch. Literally, as DWS herself might say.
Ball also notes the hypocrisy of Wasserman-Schultz’s fire-breathing rhetoric as a newly-minted party leader:
Wasserman Schultz’s sharpest rhetoric — such as insisting that Republicans’ move to defund Planned Parenthood and restrict abortion constitutes a “war on women” or that the Ryan plan would be a “death trap for some seniors” — may please her party’s base. But it doesn’t square with her role as a leading voice decrying that kind of over-the-top language in the wake of the January shooting in Tucson that injured her good friend, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
Yeah, what was it that Wasserman-Schultz said after the shooting?
“Maybe we can all come together and push the shock jocks and the media, who pride themselves in whipping people into a frenzy on both sides, not to do that anymore,” she said.
Hmmm. Maybe we can get the DNC chair to stop telling people that Republicans literally want to bring back Jim Crow laws and kill seniors. Whipping people into a frenzy is apparently only a public-sector prerogative in Debbie Downer’s world.
Drain the swamp! Clean house! It takes a woman to do a man’s job!
Remember all that Year of the Woman rhetoric when liberal feminists were riding high?
Top Democrat women loudmouths in Washington would rather you forgot all of it now. If you ever wondered how to get one of them to clam up about gender and politics, now you know:
Pursed lips. Frosty glares. Polite demurrals. Icy silence. Women in politics are grappling with the distinctly unfunny choice of restraining themselves or letting rip what they really think about Rep. Anthony Weiner’s X-rated online conduct and whether he belongs in Congress. They’ll be vexed by the question awhile longer because the 46-year-old Democrat from New York City told the New York Post on Thursday he won’t resign.
Michael Young wrote: “In the interest of protecting the children, U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner (Pervert – N.Y.), sponsored the Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators Act of 2007 a.k.a. KIDS Act of 2007.”
This is almost as funny as his call to remove the Triumph of Civic Values statue in New York City, which he said is sexist.
By now, if you haven’t figured out, a lack of honesty seems to be more of a badge of honor for those on the Left. As a result, unless a few of his victims do, in fact, turn out to be minors, Anthony Weiner won’t be going anywhere. Sure, #Weinergate is a short-term embarrassment to a few Democrat politicians. The reality is, however, within a few months Weiner will be back in their good graces. To so many Democrats, Weiner’s only transgression (like Bill Clinton’s before him) was to have gotten caught.
The war that dares not speak its name…US and Lybia:

Moss’ manipulation of eight-year old children against their parents shouldn’t come as a shock to the citizens of Lee County, North Carolina. You see, like other collectivists before him, Superintendent Moss, knows that shaping young minds produces good little comrades.
With the community’s support and involvement, we will continue our mission “to teach each student the social and academic skills needed to become a responsible and productive citizen.”
It must be wonderful that public school officials in Lee County, NC feel obliged to turn a daughter against a father, or manipulate schoolkids behind their parents’ backs.
In Other News…
We tried buying off the Kremlin with technologies in the 1970s. That policy was a component of “detente,” and the hope was that if we would share our technologies with them, they would become more peaceful. Things, of course, didn’t work out that way. The Kremlin took western technologies and embarked on a massive military building program. History teaches that peace comes from American military strength. And a central component of that has always been technological superiority. Why would President Obama even dream of giving this away?
Members of Congress saw how foolish President Obama’s gambit was, so they put a section in the defense appropriation bill that specifically forbids the federal government from spending money to share these technologies with the Kremlin. President Obama actually threatened to veto the defense appropriation bill over this section of the law! Fortunately, the House passed the bill with a veto-proof majority, a whopping 322 to 96. Attention now turns to the Senate.
Why is it that President Obama seems to work so hard to give things to our enemies, while at the same time asking friends and allies like Israel to make sacrifices?
Ah, the stench of fear….The MSM and the left are so desperate to destroy Sarah Palin that they are now ‘crowdsourcing’ to try to dig up dirt. Help analyze the Palin e-mails
Ace writes that one of his readers, “points out this Washington Post liberal-blogger crowdsource effort dovetails with my earlier points about the fact there is apparently no longer any wall at all between the left-wing fever swamps and the inaccurately-termed ‘mainstream media.’”
“They’re now just operating openly together. Hand-in-glove, cheek-by-jowl,” Ace adds.
Of course, they’ll still play the “hey, we get lots of angry letters from both sides of the aisle so that must make us objective”ruse when need be, but at this point, is anybody remaining who still buys that act?
And as Allahpundit adds, “crowdsourcing’s a smart, sleek information-gathering technique. Thanks to the Times and WaPo for legitimizing it for conservative media like Fox News, which will now happily put it to good use doing oppo research on the left.”
In one respect this reminds me of the early days of the Weiner stuff. He was convinced that the MSM would cover for him and attack Breitbart but what he didn’t understand was that any Twitter user could understand what his actions meant and it was a simple matter to explain it to others.
In the same respect any person who has ever sent e-mails or used a computer understands what is going on here and why and for those few who do not regularly use e-mail it is easily explained..
The amount of sympathy this is going to generate for Palin among the not involved is considerable and will not be easily countered. Even the attempt to spin something complicated that they might find will still pale before the idea that the media has decided that recruit hundreds of people worldwide to go through someone’s e-mail with the express purpose of destroying them.
This is the death knell for the anti-Palin movement’s credibility, and a disaster for every single GOP opponent to her who will be forced to denounce it.
Amazing, simply amazing!

Allah asked yesterday why Mitt would stick to his Ehtanol pander if he’s not going to compete in Iowa. I have a theory. In ’08 Romney got killed for pandering and flipping. This year he’s sticking by Ethanol, man made global warming and RomneyCare. It’s almost as if he’s flipped on being a flipper and now is the guy who is “standing by tough but unpopular positions”. Consider it a meta-flip.
Poor Mitt, always fighting the last battle, just a split second out of rhythm with the beat of the moment. He’s damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.

Of those, two-thirds have made no payments at all for at least a year, and nearly one-third have gone more than two years.”

In a final act of revenge, Elizabeth Edwards secretly recorded a testimony in her dying days that helped prosecutors indict husband John last week, it was claimed today.
John Edwards is due to stand trial on charges that could lead to a 30-year jail sentence after he pleaded not guilty on Friday to using $925,000 in campaign funds to cover up an affair and love child.
The estranged wife of the former presidential candidate is alleged to have filmed a damning testimony that was central to the prosecution’s case for charges.
Friends said the cancer victim, who died in December, wanted to ‘haunt’ her estranged husband and his mistress Rielle Hunter, with whom he fathered a child and made a sex tape.

Joke about assassinating Sarah Palin, then blame her when people complain.
No wonder this idiot comes in dead last in the cable news ratings.
In George Soros’ confused world, right is on one side — that of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party — and wrong is on the side of the Republican Party and conservatism. What upsets him is that the electorate is wiser than he and his friends on the left side of the political spectrum. Since he cannot countenance anyone thinking that Democratic left-liberals do not have the right answers, he comes up with the only answer to explain the declining political fortunes of his side: manipulation by those who manufacture consent.
At least George Soros should have the honesty to let people know he is stealing more than a leaf from Noam Chomsky.
Between Thomas Friedman and Al Gore, if they’d let some of us greenhouse gas-spewing eco-unfriendly serfs spill over into their sprawling carbon footprints, maybe the earth wouldn’t be so full.
If somebody wants to effectively convince people that the world is in peril because of carbon footprints, they’d be wise to first make sure it looks like they believe it. That’s Salesmanship 101. Global warming alarmists with private jets and mansions are like cardiologists preaching healthy diets to their patients while walking through the waiting room smoking cigarettes and eating pork rinds.
The report cautions that climate change can negatively and directly affect indoor air quality in several ways. But the scientists behind the study warn that homeowners and businesses could also be making the problem worse by pursuing untested or risky energy-efficiency upgrades.
The report reads, “Even with the best intentions, indoor environmental quality issues may emerge with interventions that have not been sufficiently well screened for their effects on occupant safety and health.”
According to the report, when buildings are airtight, negative moisture and air problems result. Likewise, asbestos and other harmful materials result when buildings and home are made “green.”
However, the report does not seek to discourage people from making homes and businesses more energy efficient, but rather asks organizations to take note of the side effects of the green upgrades so that the public can make educated decisions.
This is not the first time that environmental efforts have proven to create more problems than they fix.
