If we start getting active and independent in our states and communities now, the harder it will be for the Federal or Global thugs to succeed in their power grab when things get really hard.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s decision is based on a belief by the Islamic regime’s strategists that both America and Israel lack the courage and the ability to dismantle the Iranian nuclear facilities. Wichita experiences rare ‘heat burst’ overnight
Last night Wichita experienced a very rare weather phenomenon known as a “Heat Burst.” At 12:22 a.m. the temperature at Wichita’s Mid-Continent Airport was 85 degrees. At 12:44 the temperature spiked to 102 degrees. This was a 17 degree increase in only 20 minutes. Winds also gusted between 50 and 60 MPH. The heat burst winds and temperatures rapidly dissipated as they spread across Sedgwick and Southern Butler Counties.
A heat burst is caused when rain falls into very dry air, high up in the atmosphere. The rain quickly evaporates as it falls through the dry parcel of air and that parcel cools rapidly. This dense mass falls rapidly toward the ground, heating up as it compresses. When this hot ball of air hits the ground it spreads out in every direction creating very strong, warm and dry winds.

So how does one reconcile this data? Simple – in June the Treasury has collected $44 billion in withheld individual income taxes (and a whopping $400 million in corporate tax), while spending double that, or $89 billion. Fiscal prudence? Rhetorical.
The government racked up $5.3 trillion in new fiscal obligations last year alone — bringing the
current unfunded tab for future expenses on things like Medicare, Social Security and military medical and retirement programs to a whopping $61.6 trillion, or $534,000 per American household.
Then there’s today’s bills: We’re borrowing $125 billion a month that we have no hope of ever paying back on our current course.
The growth in GDP declined to a measly 1.8 percent in the first quarter of 2011 as consumers hung desperately onto their wallets. Job growth has completely collapsed. Fully 60 percent of the electorate thinks the country is on the wrong track. No wonder the daily economic briefing, once on a par with the intelligence briefing, has vanished from President Obama’s schedule.

Hope Is Gone Now That Change Has Come
The really disturbing trend in the employment picture in this country is how companies after initially laying off thousands of employees in the previous years have simply chosen to not fill those jobs. Those were jobs still on the books that companies were still taking applications for in the hopes of the economy turning around and then being able to hire. Those jobs will now be gone forever.
The other side effect is that those that have managed to retain their jobs are being worked to death and now after two years of this administrations misguided, inept, and total indifference to the plight of the worker are approaching the burn out stage which will no doubt lead to further issues with people simply giving up. Depending on the individual this continued burn out of the workers will manifest itself in one of two ways. A resignation that this is the way life is going to be and either refusing to let a job get the better of you and slowing down to do what is required to keep your job and nothing more, or trying to keep up with the demands of the job and risking serious physical harm along with damage to any personal relationships outside of the workplace.
In either case it paints a very bleak picture for the future prospects of counting on the spirit of the American people to be able to turn around and succeed in spite of the odds.
I don’t think this is the fundamental change that most Americans had in mind when they voted for Obama.
The Obama Job-Training Juggernaut
President Obama campaigned this week for “new and innovative approaches” to America’s economic crisis. So naturally, the futurist-in-chief filched his fresh, bold ideas straight from … the 1930s. The grand new solution to the jobs deficit, according to the White House, is more FDR-style federal job-training spending.
Sounding every bit like the whiteboard eggheads who keep spinning around the Ivy League-Washington revolving door, Obama announced breathlessly: “If we could match up schools and businesses, we could create pipelines right from the classroom to the office or the factory floor. This would help workers find better jobs, and it would help companies find the highly educated and highly trained people that they need in order to prosper and to remain competitive.”
In Obama World, private businesses are just too darned dumb to figure out how to connect the dots and create these pipelines for themselves.
This comes on the heels of a Democratic Congress and President Obama foolishly — nay, recklessly — trimming the employee contributions from 6.2% to a mere 4.2% in an effort to stimulate an already overstimulated economy.
Now Obama is doubling down on the stupid.

The projected revenue from hiking the top tax rate to its pre-Bush rate, even using static tax analysis, is around $700 billion over a decade. A $700 billion infusion would not eliminate the “growth of the deficit” over a decade, not at current rates of spending and growth in entitlement spending projected over that period; in fact, it wouldn’t even cut this year’s deficit in half.

Instead, ATF documents show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms knowingly and deliberately flooded Mexico with assault rifles. Their intent was to expose the entire smuggling organization, from top to bottom, but the operation spun out of control and supervisors refused pleas from field agents to stop it.
Only after Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry died did ATF Agent John Dodson blow the whistle and expose the scandal.
“What people don’t understand is how long we will be dealing with this,” Dodson told Fox News back in March. “Those guns are gone. You can’t just give the order and get them back. There is no telling how many crimes will be committed before we retrieve them.”

The cornerstone belief of American liberals is that the United States is too rich and too powerful. And, if you want to make America poorer and weaker, the easiest way to do so is by preventing the development of our energy resources. Such a policy hobbles our economy and causes massive transfers of wealth from the U.S. to other countries, many of which are hostile. Liberals think this is all to the good, but pretty much every other American disagrees.
The Obama administration’s energy policies have been a disaster, assuming that American decline is not your objective. We have written many times about the administration’s efforts to suppress development of our oil resources, but coal is equally important. The United States is blessed with extraordinary deposits of coal, but Obama is determined to prevent us from using it to generate cheap and plentiful electricity. Obama wasn’t kidding when he said, as a candidate, that his policies would cause electricity prices to “skyrocket.”

Healthcare: Let The States Decide
The debate about healthcare coming from the Democrats is steeped in purposeful misdirection on one hand and a complete lack of any real knowledge about what Obamacare will even do on the other. It is also a major overreach on a federalism level which is why it is hard to understand why more people aren’t talking about the Healthcare Compact plan (healthcarecompact.org).14 states have already signed onto it and has even been signed into law in two of them, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Of course, the problem is that we are expected to believe that Obamacare — which is essentially a nationalized healthcare policy — will work just fine on a national level. Despite that history has proven over and over again that centralized planning simply does not work, most especially with something as unwieldy and complicated as healthcare.
Concerns Over Illegal Immigration Becoming Mainstream
More than 50% of illegal immigrants enter the country through the Tucson sector. Arizona is hit harder by illegal immigration than any other state in the country. The Bureau of Land Management recently posted signs 70 miles north of the border in Sheriff Babeu’s Pinal County warning citizens to stay out of certain areas due to the drug cartels and coyotes. The violence on the border has moved north, with much of it taking place 20-40 miles north of the border. Pinal County has become the number one pass through county in the nation for drug and human trafficking. Sheriff Babeu saysthat parts of Arizona are now controlled by the drug cartels, a $40 billion dollar industry. He laments, “The criminals have taken over our country, and our government has become our enemy.”
Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, formerly governor of Arizona, brazenly declared last year that the border “is as secure as it ever has been.” The Border Patrol is circulating a PowerPoint presentation showing that illegal immigration has decreased. But their chart cherry picks which years and figures to compare. Sheriff Dever objects to the skewed presentation, “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid and buy into ‘this border is secure’ nonsense.” Dever resigned from the governmental Alliance to Combat Transnational Threats organization in February, calling it a charade. Sheriff Babeu accuses the federal government of trying to brainwash the American people by saying the border is safe and secure, in order to “lull us into a false sense of security.”

She also predictably suggests that the counter-terrorism apparatus is a useful tool that can save citizens in need of rescue from natural disasters. More likely, it is the roll-out of soft martial law that will create a permanent state of fear, suspicion, false arrests, police brutality, and the end of the American republic in the same fashion that led to the end of every society that chose the path of security over freedom.
We half-heartedly followed a noble coalition into a murky humanitarian effort, but we can’t leave until we’re done “supporting” the accidental killing of the head of state. It’s no wonder Obama is fearful of the War Powers Resolution. His fetish for internationalism and American humility has left him incapable of selling the worthwhile Libyan war to Congress.
One could go on. ObamaCare, Israel, leaving Iraq, drawing down in Afghanistan, green-energy “innovation”—you name it. Wherever there’s progress, the president is looking for exits. Where there’s folly or disaster, he’s doubling down. And for each experiment in the absurd he’s got to make a sales pitch to a country that’s not buying.
Obama is inept at spin because it never occurred to him that he’d have failures in need of spinning. He took the rightness of liberal policy prescriptions as articles of faith. He didn’t even need to know what was in the ObamaCare bill. It would work because liberalism, given its day in the sun, was prophesized to succeed.
As Richard Nixon discovered too late, pissing off your own party — and having an enemies list — are unhelpful when the chips are down.
Loyalty is a two-way street.
Nobody Goldwatered Clinton.

Ball also notes the hypocrisy of Wasserman-Schultz’s fire-breathing rhetoric as a newly-minted party leader:

“Maybe we can all come together and push the shock jocks and the media, who pride themselves in whipping people into a frenzy on both sides, not to do that anymore,” she said.
Hmmm. Maybe we can get the DNC chair to stop telling people that Republicans literally want to bring back Jim Crow laws and kill seniors. Whipping people into a frenzy is apparently only a public-sector prerogative in Debbie Downer’s world.

In one respect this reminds me of the early days of the Weiner stuff. He was convinced that the MSM would cover for him and attack Breitbart but what he didn’t understand was that any Twitter user could understand what his actions meant and it was a simple matter to explain it to others.
In the same respect any person who has ever sent e-mails or used a computer understands what is going on here and why and for those few who do not regularly use e-mail it is easily explained..
The amount of sympathy this is going to generate for Palin among the not involved is considerable and will not be easily countered. Even the attempt to spin something complicated that they might find will still pale before the idea that the media has decided that recruit hundreds of people worldwide to go through someone’s e-mail with the express purpose of destroying them.
This is the death knell for the anti-Palin movement’s credibility, and a disaster for every single GOP opponent to her who will be forced to denounce it.

Going Green May Be Unhealthy Says Report
The report cautions that climate change can negatively and directly affect indoor air quality in several ways. But the scientists behind the study warn that homeowners and businesses could also be making the problem worse by pursuing untested or risky energy-efficiency upgrades.
The report reads, “Even with the best intentions, indoor environmental quality issues may emerge with interventions that have not been sufficiently well screened for their effects on occupant safety and health.”
According to the report, when buildings are airtight, negative moisture and air problems result. Likewise, asbestos and other harmful materials result when buildings and home are made “green.”
However, the report does not seek to discourage people from making homes and businesses more energy efficient, but rather asks organizations to take note of the side effects of the green upgrades so that the public can make educated decisions.
This is not the first time that environmental efforts have proven to create more problems than they fix.
