Today’s Drudge Ku concerning Libya:
While the liberal establishment deliriously revels in the army taking control of Egypt, and even tries to give credit for this allegedly happy occasion to the bumbling Obama, here‘s what’s happening to the handful of Christians who have managed to survive centuries after the catastrophic Islamic conquest in 642
[Across] ‘liberated’ eastern Libya, a spirit of volunteerism and pulling together is evident. At the “Voice of Free Libya,” the country’s first uncensored radio station in decades, people working there tell of strangers showing up with baskets of food. In the courthouse, an old man scrubs toilets – his way of doing something for the country, he says.
Jalal Galaal, a businessman who’s acting to bring together the city council and local interests, says businessmen and government officials started showing up last week at the courthouse – a focal point for protesters – asking what should be done.
Iranian regime President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lauded the brutal regime’s record on human rights.
Of course, this is the same regime that shoots democracy protesters from rooftops.
The Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaida and Iran seek a caliphate without any Western influences. This movement is about as spontaneous as a train schedule.
The left begs us to be on the right side of history. Democracy is always good to the left except when it is outvoted. Then, it cries for minority rights.
There are no minority rights in Iran.

These things are hard to explain to anyone who has not lived under Cuba’s Stalinist brand of totalitarian communism. Many of my American friends simply don’t understand me when I try to illustrate the reasons the Cuban people have tolerated so many atrocities for so long. And I don’t blame them. Unless you have lived in Castro’s Cuba, unless you feel the profound fear that has become part of Cuban culture, it’s incomprehensible.
But the Cuban people do live in deep fear. They find the Castro brothers much more intimidating than the sharks in the Caribbean. Mind you, if Cuba and the United States were to open the floodgates and allow Cubans to flee from the island on flotillas to Florida — as has occurred in the past — surely thousands would risk their lives crossing the Florida Straits on anything that floats to regain their freedom. And yet they find demonstrating against the government a lot more life-threatening. Doesn’t that say something?
In other words, you’re safer in Kabul 7,500 miles away than in Juarez, just over the border from El Paso.
But there’s nothing to be concerned about.

Must see TV!-Andrew Klavan: Multiculturalism Explained
I walked down the street in Barcelona, and suddenly discovered a terrible truth Europe died in Auschwitz . . . We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.
The contribution of this people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all, as the conscience of the world. These are the people we burned.
And under the pretense of tolerance, and because we wanted to prove to ourselves that we were cured of the disease of racism, we opened our gates to 20 million Muslims, who brought us stupidity and ignorance, religious extremism and lack of tolerance, crime and poverty, due to an unwillingness to work and support their families with pride.
They have blown up our trains and turned our beautiful Spanish cities into the third world, drowning in filth and crime.
This is the same CAIR executive West ripped to shreds at a recent town hall.
So we’re just very relieved that Ben Bernanke keeps telling us that there’s no inflation. Because we hate to think of what prices would be doing if there was!
There’s major shift occurring right now in financial markets. Sure, the food and freedom riots that are spreading across the globe are a major indicator that civil unrest follows very closely behind resource shortages and economic turmoil… but there’s something else that I’ve noticed recently– it’s a sea change in the financial system. In the past, major crises normally caused investors to seek safe haven assets, and everything else equal, the dollar would rise. They call it a ‘flight to safety’, and investors would flock towards the perceived stability of US Treasury securities. Fast forward to today. Mubarak. Gaddafi. Khalifa. Al Said. Ben Ali. Etc. There is no shortage of turmoil right now… yet we are seeing the dollar get clobbered while gold, silver, and smaller currencies like the Swiss franc rise. This represents a major shift in the way that the market views risk.
This blatant attempt to dump PMs into the pit close and have silver and gold end trading on the books near the lows of the day merely confirms that “someone” is truly desperate to avoid an avalanche of margin calls. Of course, this uber-cheap trick works at best for a day or two.
If I interpret Faber correctly, you’re better off holding precious metals than equities… and better off holding equities than U.S. debt.
Which says a lot about the policies of the current administration, Tiny Tim Geithner and Helicopter Ben Bernanke.
Eric Holder’s DoJ is not interested in prosecuting the Black Panthers, but they are pulling out the stops to take out a rising star in the Republican Party – Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. The legal harassment is ostensibly to enforce “voting laws,” but political motivations are evident.
The administration’s approach to voting rights is unquestionably political. Military ballots are of little concern, but felons, illegals and welfare leeches must be led by red carpet straight into the voting booths so that they can pull the Democratic Party level. Fictitious lawsuits are constructed against popular Republican Governors, while slam-dunk cases of racial intimidation are dropped because the victims were white.
The Department of Justice has been turned into an Orwellian body whose name not only no longer accurately describes its functions, but declares exactly the opposite of how it operates in practice. Under Eric Holder, DoJ is the Department of Injustice.
Last August SHN reported on China blowing $1.7 billion for an additional 1 million surveillance cameras and copycat Janet Napolitano praising Chicago’s installation of 10,000 spy cameras. But for reasons ‘unknown’, citizens were then punished for turning the cameras back on Team Napolitano. Oh well.
News of aerial surveillance in Ogden begs the question, ‘What are the Mormons up to?
I should mention one more thing about that Indianapolis conference. When somebody asked one of the speakers whether a liberal such as Obama could also invoke interposition to bypass laws or rulings he didn’t like – a decision making health reform unconstitutional, for example – he replied:
“That’s where the 2nd Amendment comes in.”
The world’s going nuts, and we’ve got to choose between guns and demagogues?
“The last thing we need, in my view, is the FCC serving as Internet traffic controller, and potentially running roughshod over local broadcasters who have been serving their communities with free content for decades.”
From John Boehner’s blog-Stopping the Government Spending Binge That Threatens Jobs
“Let’s get this straight. We’re going to be ‘gifted’ with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least ten million more people without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we’ll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke!!
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?”
I have no idea how he’ll blame Bush for any of this, but rest assured, he’ll try. They says his is a historic presidency. By the time his term is up he’ll have presided over the loss of at least 10 million jobs. Indeed, that’s historic. Making matters worse, he doesn’t even care.

Americans sent a small-government message in November, but Obama isn’t listening.
Given the absurdity of the pretexts, the fact that they can ban them and no one will do anything about it is apparently reason enough. Coercion is an end in itself for liberals. You might say that modern liberalism is the worship of coercion as embodied by The State
To highlight the offensiveness to liberty that democracy and majority rule is, just ask yourself how many decisions in your life would you like to be made democratically. How about what car you drive, where you live, whom you marry, whether you have turkey or ham for Thanksgiving dinner? If those decisions were made through a democratic process, the average person would see it as tyranny and not personal liberty. Is it no less tyranny for the democratic process to determine whether you purchase health insurance or set aside money for retirement? Both for ourselves, and our fellow man around the globe, we should be advocating liberty, not the democracy that we’ve become where a roguish Congress does anything upon which they can muster a majority vote.
Waving is an odd thing, if you think about it. It’s like, Hello, look, here is my hand. I’m moving it all around because we can see each other! Most people don’t wave that often, but President Obama does it all the time, whether for a crowd or a camera. Not because he necessarily wants to, but because it’s expected of him. The president is supposed to be a friendly and folksy character, and waving as if he gives a shit helps to foster such an image. Usually, Obama pulls it off just fine, with a big happy grin. But sometimes, he just can’t fake it, and the look on his face reveals how grudgingly and unenthusiastically he is performing this charade for us.
Your tax dollars at work-Obama’s Regular Jetset Fitness Trainer: What Global Warming?
David Axelrod says he lost 25 pounds under McClellan’s watch, but that comes at a steep cost for those as environmentally minded as the Obamas: 50,000 lbs of carbon emissions. That’s how much carbon emissions are involved in McClellan’s flying back and forth every week for a year (according to TerraPass.com).
Couldn’t they have just hired someone in D.C. to take over the training? The Yellow Pages provides over 56 entries under “Personal Fitness Trainers” alone, most of whom would have been able to reach the White House by bike.
Very surprising considering the source though you do have to consider the source when reading it.-The Lady Doth Too Much
Ever since her husband ascended to the presidency, the media has prematurely sought to fit the square-shaped Michelle Obama into the circular hole of Camelot. Still bewitched by the moldering majesty of the Kennedy legacy and always on the lookout for an heir to King John’s throne, every time a young Democratic couple enters the White House, the media assume that Camelot has been reborn. But like Hillary Clinton before her, Mrs. Obama is no Jackie O.
At one point, Parnes seems to drop even the pretense of journalistic objectivity, straightforwardly defending the first lady against an unflattering cartoon that appeared on BigGovernment.com. “Her [Michelle Obama’s] athletic physique is something to be lampooned on Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government website, which posted a cartoon showing her as overweight and eating a plate full of hamburgers,” Parnes wrote.
Breitbart’s response: “Manufactured poppycock,” adding that Parnes never tried to contact him either. “This is an attempt to try and manufacture a bogeyman,” he said.
In a phone interview, Breitbart went on to point out that mocking public figures in editorial cartoons has been “standard practice” for centuries. As long as the first lady remains involved in policy discussions, Breitbart said, “she’s open to criticism.”
Voters in every age and gender demographic would choose a shutdown rather than current levels of spending. Only voters earning more than $100K a year choose to keep spending at current levels rather than risking a shutdown. Perhaps most telling, 56% of government workers would rather see a shutdown than continued spending at current levels.
Whatever the case, Democrats want a shutdown. They’re still living in 1995, thinking they can bamboozle the public into believing Republicans want to throw grandma out in the street and make her eat dog food. Demagoguery is all they’ve got left in the outdated playbook.
“Sizable majorities of Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party reject such a strategy. Democrats are fairly evenly divided, with 48% approving and 44% disapproving.”
Poor Obama. It’s almost as if he doesn’t have a bully pulpit from which his Teleprompter can give daily speeches. How will he ever counter the ill effects of these evil men trying to ruin him?
OUCH! That is gonna leave a mark….Walker responds to Obama
Walker’s office issued this statement:
“I’m sure the President knows that most federal employees do not have collective bargaining for wages and benefits while our plan allows it for base pay. And I’m sure the President knows that the average federal worker pays twice as much for health insurance as what we are asking for in Wisconsin. At least I would hope he knows these facts.
“Furthermore, I’m sure the President knows that we have repeatedly praised the more than 300,000 government workers who come to work every day in Wisconsin.
“I’m sure that President Obama simply misunderstands the issues in Wisconsin, and isn’t acting like the union bosses in saying one thing and doing another.”
WAAAAAAAAAAH!-Obama to governors: Stop vilifying public employees!
Memo to Obama: The only ones “villifying” public employees are themselves by their own behavior. They have all the charm of a shrill, screeching, foot stomping, head banging, temper tantrum throwing, five year old spoiled brat.
The assistance given to them via your OfA, the Democratic party/Union slush fund to pay the fleebaggers expenses, Soros’s MoveOn.org and the Democratic party’s propaganda wing the MSM has only served to throw gasoline on that fire. Toss in the aging hippies, anarchists, Comunists that have crawled out of the woodwork to recreate a cargo cult version of 1968 in Madison and that fire has now turned into a wildfire that is blowing back on the whole works. You see, hun, the American people are not as stupid as you think they are.
It’s almost like the Democratic party is in the union’s back pocket.

In Greece, it was the Socialist Party that had to impose the austerity programs when the money ran out. Ditto Spain. Democrat or Republican, red or blue, when there isn’t any money and the credit cards are maxed out, something has to give.
Public union support is going to be less and less of a political asset. In Chicago, some key public unions actually backed one of Emanuel’s rivals: Gery Chico. Chico got 24 percent of the vote in one of the most heavily Democratic places in the country. Increasingly, politicians seen as too close to public sector unions (and therefore likely to favor the interests of government workers against the taxpayers who pay them) are going to suffer at the polls.
This raise in political spending comes at a time when the NEA has seen membership fall by some 54,000 members and found a $14 million shortfall in its general operating budget.
One wonders how members feel whose organization can’t even pay its bills but is doubling its spending on politics?
Moynihan, ever the partisan warrior, advised Democrats to adopt “approaches to public-sector spending that [represent] good-faith efforts to keep costs from rising more than necessary.”
His party didn’t listen, but his counsel remains sound — and not just for Democrats.
But one thing is for sure — just as a lot of town hall video from the summer of 2009 reappeared on blogs and election commercials in the weeks before November of 2010, a big chunk of the B-roll for the 2012 election was shot this weekend.
Democrat state senators in the Midwest aren’t the only petulant losers who want to abandon their states. Kooks in Pima County — home of Arizona-haters Clarence Dupnik and Raul Grijalva — plan to secede
It’s part of a disturbing trend by Democrats to embrace a by-any-means-necessary approach to governing. We saw it during passage of Obamacare, when the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate blew up the rules to block a filibuster. In Massachusetts, Democrats used after-the-fact law changes in a failed attempt to keep a Republican from succeeding Ted Kennedy.
Obama trashed bankruptcy law to move the United Auto Workers ahead of General Motors’ and Chrysler’s secured creditors. And his regulatory agencies are bypassing Congress to enact policies he knows the elected representatives would never approve.
The strategy exposes the arrogant liberal conviction that they are justified in imposing their will on the people, because only they know what’s best for America.
These Democrats in Indiana and Wisconsin merit universal condemnation.
What they are saying is that the people no longer have the right to use the ballot box to decide the direction of their government.
Walker addresses a joint session of the legislature tomorrow night, in what will surely be showdown moment between himself and the fleebaggers. If they don’t send someone to provide a quorum at that point, Walker will almost certainly announce layoffs and blame them on Democrats who won’t participate as a minority, but instead insist on dictating to the majority. Unfortunately for everyone, there seems to be no way for fleebaggers to save face at this point.

I suppose this is acceptable because he was fighting for “the people,” right?
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty says growing government, powerful unions and bailed-out businesses make up “a royal triangle of greed” in America.
The possible presidential candidate delivered his assessment Saturday to a large gathering of tea party supporters in Arizona.
This may seem like a no-brainer argument, but you’d be surprised at the number of people who believe that union states actually spur more economic growth than the states that are staunchly right-to-work. For example, after you’re done with Professor Barro’s piece, read
Obama’s bossAFL-CIO “leader” Richard Trumka’s “argument” about how all we need to do is raise taxes, rather than limit collective bargaining, to stimulate the economy and create jobs.
Leftists rarely care about anything being clean or respected — not even a war memorial — so no surprise there. But by the police doing nothing they’re inviting more of this behavior. Remember though that the police are also unionized, so the question of whether the cops will ultimately put unions or laws first may have been answered in Wisconsin.
I saw an officer being interviewed this morning, and he said “We’re expecting everyone to act in accordance with the laws, but we’ve made a decision not to force anybody out or make arrests.” When leftist thugs heard that, they heard “anything goes.” Running a city on the left-wing honor system… what could possibly go wrong?
Are we really heading down this path here? The citizens … the taxpayers … cannot count on the police to do their duty with equal discretion? Will their loyalty to the union trump their duty to the community?
What? MoveOn.org? The SEIU? And they were asking cops to march in this parade? Surely this had to be some kind of elaborate Internet hoax.
And it got worse. If you dared to click on the link to find a rally, you learned that in addition to MoveOn.org and the SEIU, the events were to be sponsored by National People’s Action, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, USAction, the Daily Kos, Media Matters, and every other leftist fringe cabal this side of the Socialist Workers Party. The post concluded with a stirring exhortation: “Our brothers and sisters in Wisconsin are under attack. They need and deserve our support. The time to pull together is NOW.” They might have gone with something a bit punchier, like “Workers of the world, unite!”
It was no hoax. Would that it had been.
And how the phones must have been ringing in the League offices Thursday evening. The post soon had more than 25 comments (the typical post on the site receives no more than one or two), the overwhelming majority of which expressed opposition to making common cause with organizations most police officers finds repellent. “LAPD officers aligned with MoveOn.org?” wrote the first to weigh in. “Now I’ve seen everything!” “So now we hook up with the mob?” wrote another. “Are you crazy?”
In Madison, Wisconsin — the Berkeley of the Midwest — deadlines don’t mean diddly-squat. Rules don’t apply. And the People’s House belongs not to hard-working taxpayers, but to Big Labor squatters who have grimed and slimed up the Capitol for almost two weeks.
The Capitol police had set a deadline this afternoon for the grievance mob to clear out their sleeping bags, crock pots, and other makeshift camp paraphernalia. The occupiers ignored them. The Capitol police then promptly…capitulated. Rest assured, rewarding the breakdown of civil order will lead to more civil disorder. Way to go, Madison
The voters understand that we cannot continue along the path we are on, and those who stand in the way of the voters have little chance for success.
The public sector unions and their supporters control the rotunda at the state Capitol in Madison, Wisconsin, but their control over state finances is coming to an end.

Our state-of-the-art image enhancement software allowed us to extract close-ups – with stunning clarity I might add – of pictures we’re receiving from SHN staff photographers covering the Wisconsin ‘solidarity‘ events. It’s as if we were able to put faraway protesters under a digital microscope. After doing so, we have no desire to replicate the process again — ever.
From the Madison, WI police blotter…Anti-Walker pro-union protester attacks 10-year-old.
She spoke broken English and it was not clear why she was spitting as she also voiced displeasure with Governor Walker. A Madison Police sergeant told the victim she was sorry for what happened, and that the girl has every right to exercise her First Amendment rights. The girl’s aunt thanked the sergeant, and wanted to take a picture of the sergeant with her niece.
Now, the hatred has turned physical. Fox News reporter Mike Tobin — a fearless international correspondent who has covered wars in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian territories — was assaulted in Madison today as hysterical union goons screamed over his live shots to drown out his news segments.
“One thing I think should make clear – the people coming after us from every live shot here, these people hate,” Tobin said. “These are people who don’t respect diverse viewpoints. In fact, they’re so afraid I’ll present a diverse viewpoint, that’s why they try to heckle me and shut down every live shot. They’ve made it clear, that what they want to make it harder for me to do my job. They are proud of that when they disrupt a live shot, when they really trample over the First Amendment rights or the First Amendment’s obligations of a reporter. Now, I am not saying that’s all of the people. Those are the people that come here and heckle and try to disrupt things. I look in their eyes – there is hate in their eyes. They don’t want to hear any kind of viewpoint that is different from their own. That’s why they do what they do.”
One thing is for certain. The more progressives attack Fox News and their icons, the more popular Fox becomes. It’s like throwing gasoline on a media wildfire, thinking that it will extinguish the flames of information. Information that is the last flame of news in the US that is even remotely trustworthy from a major media outlet. A flame that outlets such as Media Matters would love to snuff out. News that is in tune with American citizens and not wildly out of step with their core beliefs.
Isn’t it ironic that the more Soros’ funded groups and Obama/union backed entities attack Glenn Beck, the more consistently his show ratings are at the top of the chart compared to ALL cable outlets? See what happens when you use inflammatory rhetoric to attack conservative ideals? You set America’s thirst for real news on fire. Fox’s ratings and profits have risen for years simply because they give Americans what they want – the truth. The progressive/Soros/Obama/union agenda – not so much.
In any event, I think we can all agree on one thing. The real question is: how do ferret ownership numbers compare to the readership of David Brooks?
In October, the New York Times had an average weekday circulation of 877,000. You think all those people read David Brooks? He’s lucky if 10% of them actually read his column. We’ll say 25% if we’re being really generous. That’s fewer than a quarter million people.
Which is less than half the number who own ferrets. Which means Brooks would have been more accurate to say: “twice as many Americans own ferrets as read me.”
Why do I bother writing about this? Because this is the kind of stupid soundbite that liberals will pick up on, and repeat ad nauseum. So it’s fun to have the facts at the ready to slap them down.
Here is a sound effect to read this by…MoveOn Confirms Paltry Protest Numbers And Village Voice Messes Up
While commies Van Jones and Medea Benjamin(Obama BFF and Code Pinko) were speaking to MoveOn.org supporters in Washington DC, censured Rep. Charlie Rangel spoke to the MoveOn.org pro-public union rally in New York City on Saturday.
A self-proclaimed Marxist-Revolutionary emceed MoveOn.org’s “Saving the American Dream” rally in Dallas… Because we all know that “Saving the American Dream” involves promoting Marxism.
MoveOn.org pro-union thugs screamed F*** you at a group of tea partiers in Georgia and then crossed the street and attacked them. A petite elderly woman was shoved by the attacking leftist goons.
Yesterday I had a lot of time to think. I stood for two hours on the street across from the NC Capital and watched the circus. This was not Barnum and Bailey. This was a street performance by SEIU, SEANC, Teamsters, etc. and their progressive, socialist and communist organizers.
Yes, there was a gathering on my side of the street also. The defining characteristic between the opposing crowds was clear. One side wants to achieve “economic and social justice” through redistribution of wealth and power. The other side wants to be left alone to live their lives and prosper in accordance with their industry and ability. It’s just that simple: force vs. self reliance.
Many smart conservatives with good intentions have worked hard to find ways to communicate with these Looters, the “useful idiots”, “tools” of the communists, who carry the socialist and progressive banners. Despite best efforts one can see little net effect on the dialog or events over the last two years. There is no common ground for compromise or negotiation with the naked evil that only covets what you have and believes it should become theirs.
But Dana’s name-calling is emblematic of the increasingly desperate tone of the left. Weeks ago liberal elites were finger-wagging about incivility; now they ignore their own side’s extra-legal obstruction and project that behavior onto their opponent. Is this really the best the left can do?
So, wait, wait, he doesn’t watch any TV news, yet, he “feels” that there’s a virtual blackout (except on Fox), because of a post at Digsby (the link he offers up as “proof”)? BTW, Paul, it’s not just Fox which has highlighted the violent and un-civil rhetoric and actions of the protesters. Many outlets have. Except the NY Times, which chooses to avoid highlighting what is going on by your lefty peeps.
As you watch the raucous fight over public employees union collective bargaining and, ultimately, who will run government in Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, New Jersey and elsewhere, you cannot help but hope the end is near for public employees unions.
Oh, it may not happen today, but it will happen soon, the embers of public anger fanned to flame by union members brashly warning a recession-battered nation they are owed, even entitled, no matter what, to ever-increasing government wages, raises, benefits and guarantees unheard of in most of the private sector. In recent days, they have shown us the petty, mean face of liberalism, with its me-first mentality. It is not pretty.
So what we have here is a conflict among black people that has nothing to do with skin color.
There seems to be cultural differences.
Yesterday, the Muslim Students Association (MSA) hosted Siraj Wahhaj. A virulent anti-American, jihad-inciting Muslim who defended the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. It is no coincidence the MSA featured Wahhaj to speak just one day before the 18th anniversary of the first WTC bombing that killed six Americans and one unborn baby. KnightNews.com reports that not only were student fees used to pay the terror-linked Wahhaj, but police were brought in to protect him AND the university attempted to prevent news crews from filming the event!
[Sheriff Sigi] Gonzalez said the four men identified are Zetas members, but he refused to release any more details at this time.
The four of them, he added, were part of a larger group of seven men that attacked David and Tiffany Hartley as they approached the abandoned town of Guerrero Viejo, in the Mexican side of the bank. “They were watching her with a rifle to her body and they lowered it and pick it up and lowered,” he said. “They were waiting for word whether to shoot her or not shoot her. “
Tiffany was able to get away and make it to safety, but David Hartley’s body has never been found.
Meanwhile, Gonzalez said the suspects are known to be living in Mexico, but since the attack, they have crossed into the U.S. several times.
Britain is about 5 to 10 years further on than the U.S. in the insane push for green energy. Besides putting their economy on the path to destruction with outrageous prices for inefficient, highly subsidized energy, the push is, according to British economists, costing 3.7 jobs for every one job it creates.
So, it isn’t actually climate change linked, it is simply a plant disease. Glad we settled that. Of course, those countries have been “agriculturally unstable environments” for a very long time, because they are kinda, you know, deserts, and have been deserts prior to 1998, or 1980, or whatever year the climate morons want to use.
It’d probably be better to use that $70 million to bring those people modern power generation and farming methods.

But while most sufferers have been shunned, Supatra has gradually been embraced by her community, and became a popular and outgoing child.

It’s no accident that the audience rose for a standing ovation when Billy Crystal appeared. They were relieved. It was like seeing a water in the desert. He could even crack a joke. And the holographic Bob Hope was even better. Oh, for another era when Hollywood was Hollywood and had a little glamor.
